Is my charger insured while someone else uses it?
Every booking includes protection coverage. If anything goes wrong, our support team helps resolve disputes fairly and quickly.
How much can I earn as a host?
Earnings depend on your location, pricing, and availability. Hosts in busy areas typically earn between 50-200 GBP per month. You set your own rates.
What connector types are supported?
ECCOmmunity supports all common UK connectors including Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO, Commando, and Schuko. Guests can filter by connector type.
How are payments handled?
All payments are processed through Stripe with PCI-compliant security. Guests pay when they book, and hosts receive automatic weekly payouts.
Can I cancel a booking?
Both hosts and guests can cancel bookings. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the booking start time. See our cancellation policy for details.
How do local communities work?
Communities are local groups on the platform. Join via an invite code from an existing member or create your own. Members in the same group can share chargers with each other.
